For Nichole Bookwalter Savenor, real estate was never simply a career—it was a natural extension of her lifelong fascination with homes, architecture, design, and the way people live in them. It started with the purchase of an 1844 Greek Revival home on the National Historic Register. What began as a renovation became an obsession, ultimately leading to a nomination to Somerville’s Historic Commission. Twenty years and another Mid-Century remodel later, Nichole’s passion for homes—and the stories they tell—has only deepened.

As co-founder of the Savenor Berkery Group, Nichole brings an uncommon combination of analytical thinking and design instinct to every transaction. With a degree in Biochemistry and a background at Mass General/Harvard, she approaches the market methodically, analyzing data, trends, pricing, and strategy, while bringing a discerning eye to preparing and positioning a home for sale.

But Nichole knows that real estate is ultimately about people.

A natural problem-solver and trusted sounding board, she helps clients navigate not only the transaction, but the life transition that comes with it. New jobs, growing families, divorce, empty nests, changing priorities—whatever brings someone to the next chapter, Nichole listens first, then brings the perspective, strategy, and calm guidance needed to move forward with confidence.

That approach has shaped a career built largely on relationships and referrals. Named Rookie of the Year in her first year in real estate, Nichole has since helped clients navigate more than $350 million in transactions. For more than a decade, she also served as President of the Cambridge Community of Realtors, building deep relationships throughout the Greater Boston real estate community with brokers, lenders, attorneys, and other professionals who help make a move happen.

Today, Nichole and her business partner, Merrill Berkery, help clients buy and sell throughout Greater Boston, with particular expertise in Arlington, Belmont, Brookline, Cambridge, Lincoln, Medford, Newton, Somerville, and Watertown. Their trusted referral network also connects clients with capable professionals across Massachusetts and the country.

Nichole resides in Belmont with her family. Her two sons attend the University of Colorado, Boulder, and when she’s not walking her pup Charlie on the conservation land abutting her home, she’s likely skiing or sailing.
