Q2 Market Report IS IN for Greater Boston

Have the continued high rates been a drag on the market?

The second quarter results are in the for the Greater Boston real estate market. Q2 saw increasing inventory and resilient demand. Buyers having more choices provides a new landscape for the buying market, and one we do not see in the greater Cambridge/Boston market often. Single family homes remained competitive while the condo market has become more balanced. As we look toward what the data will say for Q3 we imagine these trends will continue. With over 30 years of experience, one thing we can assure will happen, this softening in the condo market WILL NOT LAST.
